Jonathan Weiss DO, I am an anesthesiologist interested in caring for patients in a compassionate, friendly manner. I know that people are often under a great deal of stress when they are about to undergo surgery or a medical procedure and my goal is to make this experience as stress free and safe as possible.
I have had the opportunity to travel abroad with several volunteer organizations as an Anesthesiologist. I have found this volunteer experience to be very satisfying and rewarding.

Dr. Weiss has a wonderful bedside manner and explained everything to me in terms that were easliy understood before my outpatient procedure today. The procedure went well and I would not hesitate to have him attend to me again.

Dr. Weiss was the anesthesiologist for my mother's cataract surgery. He was pleasant and reassuring and very thorough in his preparation for her surgery. Dr. Weiss detected a cardiac arrhythmia during her pre-surgical examination- which was something she was not aware she had. He immediately had his staff run an EKG and contact her cardiologist. The doctor and staff worked together very efficiently and was able to get the entire clinical picture without delaying her surgery. Dr. Weiss took the time to explain the arrhythmia to us, reassure us with regards to the surgery and had copies of the EKG prepared for us at discharge so that she could follow up with her cardiologist. He is not only a thorough and highly experienced and knowledgeable anesthesiologist but goes the extra miles with his patients.
