She's delivered 2 of my children and will do my 3rd. She an outstanding dr and is high quality trained with the best skills there is are.

I am 35 years old and I have been seeing Dr. Canby since I was 16. She has delivered all of my 5 children with exception to one that came on the drive to hospital...super fast! Although, with that child,Josie, Dr. Was at the hospital to deliver placenta immediatly at my arrival. The staff has always been nothing but friendly,kind, and even loving to me and my family. I do not wait long and have had many procedures and regular yearly visits with this Dr. I have zero complaints. Only praise.

I was a patient of Dr. Canby's for over 5 years. I trusted her with my care during both of my pregnancies. Unfortunately, the sad reality is that Dr. Canby has greatly overloaded herself with patients and this has left unable to provide the care patients should expect from someone so highly respected. After the birth of my second daughter late last year, I was not healing properly. I knew something was wrong as things were so starkly different from how I'd healed with my first daughter just two years prior. However, I was continually told that it "should be" normal. Even after an ultrasound revealed that my uterine lining was thick, something that didn't make sense for a breastfeeding mother only six weeks postpartum, it was written off as maybe being the start of my period. I was told I could possibly bleed for up to 8 weeks. When 8 weeks came and I was still bleeding I made one last ditch effort to get Dr. Canby to further investigate what was wrong and was told to wait 3 more months… to see if my birth control stopped the bleeding. That was the last straw. I went to a new OB who did a follow up ultrasound and knew that what he saw could indicate tissue retained in my uterus. I had a D&C the day before my daughter hit 11 weeks old and sure enough, there was retained placenta. How I escaped without hemorrhaging or having an infection is nothing short of God's hand protecting me. I am finally healed now, but had I continued to listen to Dr. Canby I would still be in danger. My advice is to choose a different OB. Between this type of patient neglect and the insane wait times both on the phone and in the office, I would not recommend this practice.

I've visited canbys office for both of my pregnancies. The first ended in a quick miscarraige so i only had to visit for one appointment. Therefore i didnt have any opinions on the office, other than i was upset that i asked to schedule my appointments with the doctor and they put me with a nurse without telling me. I went back for my second pregnancy. Each appointment I walked in, the front desk receptionists were extremely rude and made me feel like a nuisance and unwelcome. There were only a couple appointments that I didn't have to wait over an hour passed my appointment time to get called back. I requested appointments with the doctor again but each time I was again sent to see the nurse. The ultrasound tech was extremely rude to my boyfriend and I and was not happy to answer any questions, instead she made us feel dumb. Not to mention the whole team was always in a hurry to get us in and out. I recieved no special attention or care that I thought I should considering I had… already miscarried prior to this pregnancy. I had one ultrasound at 7 weeks and they weren't going to do another until 20 weeks. I requested a sooner ultrasound and learned that I had miscarried again. I wasn't given any details or direction on where to go from there on how to figure out why this keeps happening. They sent me on my way with a simple "better luck next time" attitude.

I love Dr. Canby. She is an excellent doctor! The only issue is the wait time to get called back and receptionists are not nice all the time but Medical Service is always great!

I've been her patient for years . I'm extremely confident in her abilities as a OBGYN. Love her down to earth bedside manner . The only thing that I have been slightly uncomfortable with over the years is she usually does have at least one medical student observing

It is kind of a long wait but for me it is so worth it she is very nice yet forward she delivered my son and my only regret is I wasn't seeing her sooner so she would have been there for my oldest child. Great dr.!!!!
