Dr. Jordan Goldstein, MD

If your reading this, you were like me once wondering how to get help for a recent shoulder or arm pain. I wish I could say I tore my rotor cuff saving a bag of puppies in a river, but alas I did it in my sleep. So off to google I went and came across Jordon Goldstein. It was easy to see him, get and MRI to verify the torn rotor cuff and discuss my options. If you ever tear your rotor cuff just know it will never really heal on its own. You have to fix it based how bad it is if you wish for it to work again or you can do more tears down the road and face a weak arm and loss of function. This doctor really knows what he is doing. I took a leap of faith after meeting with him and felt confident he would see me through this surgery. He did an amazing job. I have my arm back good as new. I will not lie when I say rotor cuff repair can be rough and will need patience and effort, but so worth it. I got my function back as normal and better than it was before the surgery. Jordon Goldstein… truly knows what he is doing. I would recommend seeing him as he is very personable in his manner along with his staff and extremely knowledgeable on the latest surgical techniques. I am very glad I put my trust in him and cannot stress how good he is as a recommendation if you must go down the surgical path. Even just to be checked out not knowing what is causing your shoulder/arm pain. You will feel the same way I did once you meet him and his staff. Amazing team hands down worth a visit.

Jordan treated me for a posterior dislocation, that was unfortunately left out of the socket at the ER by a different Dr. When I was discharged I searched for the best shoulder surgeons in Illinois, and Jordan came up. He happened to be my parent's neighbor. My father reached out to Jordan and he came over to their house on Easter Sunday to look at my discharge papers and discuss my shoulder. I instantly knew I would be working with him based on his demeanor, expertise, and bedside manner. Jordan treated me like I was his family member. He explained that I would be out of golf and exercise because the shoulder had been out of the socket for so long before being reduced. I wanted to do surgery because the shoulder had a history of coming out. Jordan advised me that intensive physical therapy was the better option. His timeline for me returning to golf and the gym was 10 weeks. I was doubtful that this would come to fruition because the shoulder was so unstable. Everything happened… exactly how and when Jordan had predicted. By 7 weeks out, with physical therapy and check-in's with him, I felt like I could go back to activities and was cleared to chip and putt with light weight training at PT. By 10 weeks I was back to my normal self. Strength came back and my driver was as long as ever. I have had a number of surgeries in my life, and I have never been treated the way that Jordan Goldstein treated me. It was evident that he wanted what was best for me, and he genuinely cares that I remain well. I cannot thank him enough. Add to that, his staff and physical therapy crew are incredible.

I just reached the six month point after my rotator cuff and bicep surgery. My range of motion is excellent and I have absolutely no pain! If you do what doc tells you, you'll do fine. I highly recommend him.

Great doctor. I’ve had 2 surgeries that he has done for me, torn meniscus and repaired a ruptured bicep tendon. Both went without a hitch. I would recommend him to anyone! Top notch!

Dr. Goldstein was a pleasure to have as my doctor. I had torn both my meniscus and my ACL and he did an amazing job repairing them! He is a compassionate orthopedic doctor who answers your questions and makes you feel comfortable. I highly recommend him for any orthopedic procedure you may need! His nurse is wonderful as well!

He did a really good repair on my torn distal biceps tendon. Good followup. Good communication with the OT/PT staff. Although my injury was painful, he, the OT/PT staff, the office staff, and the staff at LGH made the whole process stress-free.
