Dr. Jorge Enrique Mendizabal, MD

I have found a gem in Dr. Mendizabal. He has been treating me for two years now for Dysautonomia, Migraines and Nuerapathy. I’ve gone to many doctors, but Dr. Mendizabal’ is the one who made a difference and made me feel heard. He is quiet, prompt, smart and very knowledgeable in his field. The staff has always been efficient and nice to me.

I felt that the meeting was hurried and superficial.

I do not know about the doctor himself because I had to leave the room before I went off on the nurse. From the first call to schedule the appointment to the check in to the first encounter with his nurse it went from bad to worse. The staff at the office were so rude and insensitive. The ladies at the front desk were loud and rude. You could hear them griping after every call about what they were asked for. Just a friendly reminder to them that people are here because they are in pain and already frustrated! How about a little compassion?

Dr. Mendizabal was awesome, he really listened and seemed like he wanted to help me with my issue. His MA was spectacular! She was super kind and very welcoming. If You're wondering why i only put 4 stars was because the staff in the front were rude, loud, and didn't even acknowledge my existence while i signed in and had no idea what to do after that. I also heard them talking about other patients among each other.. I noticed the receptionist at the main window was especially rude and ugly to her peers. I don't know how management lets her get away with that unprofessionalism. And that is all.

Dr. Mendizabal really listens. He has been very reactive to my needs. I suffer from excruciating headaches / head pains and constant daily headaches and pressure. He has offered me some relief and hope.

No interpersonal communication skills whatsoever. I He makes you feel uncomfortable for being in the room, did not even introduce himself to me!! He could've been anyone for all I know. He also likes to spend a lot of time on his iPhone. SHows zero interest.

He is the reason I was able to go back to school and get my Degree. I now have my MA in Health Care Administration due to all his loving kindness. It would be an honor to work with a gentleman such as this.

Dr. Mendizabal has helped me with my migraine headaches. Rather than having to take pain medication and endure lengthy expensive "pain management procedures", or have neck surgery, Dr. Mendizabal has taken the time to listen to me. He is able to provide me injections that block the pain and provide much needed relief so I can function. This month his nurses are working with me to find an earlier opening because I need to come in before my next appointment. I do not understand why anyone would give this office or Dr. a poor review.

He is an okay doctor-seems caring and concerned and fulfills my need but if I was having a lot of headaches, etc. I would find someone else. He is very nice but I don't think the best headache doc I've ever had. And he misdiagnosed a friend of mine with a serious illness.

Hes my new neuro dr bahamon was my Dr. I need something done thatthat I know works . he looks at my MRI and says I don't need nothing. He don't listen to the patient.
