He's a caring doctor who listens to his patents

Due to transportation and other issues, I didn't have a chance to get routine labs done. I came to my appointment prepared to do so. I am generally in good health, nothing requiring periodic labs. On file were the labs I had done recently in my last hospital visit and all where within normal limits. He refused to prescribe ANY of my meds, citing not getting the labs done. He finally agreed to prescribe my nasal spray after I asked him to justify his refusal. He refused to prescribe my birth control simply stating "it's not indicated" and refused to say why it wasn't indicated. I have had nothing but bad experiences with the El Rio Clinic in general prior to this so I will be changing healthcare providers. The icing on the cake was he refused to order the labs so I could get them done today. Won't order meds without the lab work and he won't order the labs.

Dr. O'Leary is a great physician who is very knowledgeable, compassionate, understanding & so very humble. By far, the best doctor I've ever had. He's known me sine I was 15 & I'm now 36. He was my entire family's physician for many years. I would & do recommend Dr. O'Leary to all my friends & family. I tell them what a wonderful & understanding dr he is. AndI can't say it enough, greatest dr ever!
