Jorge M. Rodriguez, MD

I recently visited Dr. Jorge Rodriguez and had a disappointing experience. From what I observed, he seemed lazy in his approach to patient care. He assessed my vitals and, because they were within the normal range, concluded I was "okay" without looking at any health trends over time. I had to insist on an iron test, which revealed that my iron levels were extremely low. Dr. Rodriguez dismissed the results by saying I was "okay" because I still had my menstrual cycle and refused to investigate the underlying cause further. When I asked about exercising, he replied that I wasn’t training to be an Olympic weightlifter, implying my concerns were unnecessary. I also mentioned that I had been taking a prescribed weight-loss medication for over a year and a half, but he did not review my chart and simply said he did not like the medication, providing no explanation. He also advised me to stay off the internet when I asked questions, which was both unhelpful and dismissive. Overall, based on… my experience, I would not recommend Dr. Jorge Rodriguez as a healthcare provider.
