Dr. Jorge Carlos Srabstein, MD

Really didn't help my daughter at all, only prescribed medication. We also experienced him being a little hostile and combative. He really never helped my daughter work through her problems. We finally got in with another psychiatrist and the experience was night and day. Take the time to find a different doctor.

I wish I had seen the reviews sooner. If I had my child would be home instead of spending time away from family. Instead of asking why my child felt a certain way, he intimidated me into taking my child to get admitted. He did not take any time to get to know my child. He is not understanding of children's needs.

After more than a year of seeing this dr, my child is still not comfortable with him. We continue to have the same issues as others have stated here and things have not improved since our first visit. Dr seems to try to fit my child’s issues into his specialties. We started here because of the reputation of children’s hospital. I have been deeply disappointed. I have delayed changing drs so as not to disrupt my child’s treatment, but now it’s time.

Worst experience with a doctor. Terribly rude and judgmental. I am still in shock how awful it went.

Dr. Srabstein treated my daughter and got great results. People sometimes leave bad reviews on him, but he is excellent at his job and a caring human being. Thanks to him my daughter can return to school and live a normal life.

Dr. Srabstein played a very important role in my life because he helped me overcome major depression . Thanks to his help along with with thanks to his help I was able to get my life back on track obtain my bachelors degree and get employed. My four children now have a mother who is a fighter and no longer suffering from manic depression. Thank you for making a difference in my life.

Don't waste your time with this doctor. All the reviews about this doctor of being rude to the parent(s) or child is correct. He seems to have an attitude towards men but is all noce to females. Not only is it him but the front receptionist, Gino, is as rude as well... not to mention his receptionist can't speak or understand basic common sense english well. Back to the doctor, he cuts off the parent during your explanation about your concerns, etc... Don't waste your time, please

Dr. Srabstein listened to my child, heard my child and really wanted to get to know my child BEFORE taking any steps with regard to medications. My child felt that this was the right doctor.

Dr. Srabstein simply lacks the ability to interact well with his patients. Throughout every appointment he was very rude and aggressive. He seems angry all the time and the negative reviews about him are pretty accurate. I believe he’s understanding and has fair knowledge about his work but I don’t think he’ll ever learn to be polite and easy with people. I really hate to leave this bad review about him but I wouldn’t want for others to waste their time on a doctor

This doctor truly saved the lives of someone in our family.
