Dr. Jose Diaz, MD

I have been mistreated by all his staff. When I needed forms filled out for disability, his office manager "Jennifer" argues that what I said they said on the phone "I know that is not what they said." I was on a recorded call with Social Security Administration who gave me directions of exact facts they need. I made a google doc asking for that information. I asked if I had to play the recording of the call for her to believe that is what SSA wanted. Jennifer says "No. Because I have worked with them for years and I know. Plus we have our own forms and requirement. Just because you say they want it does not mean we will do it." I asked "Are you going to continue to tell me what I heard is not what I heard?" She responds, with "I never said that." These are exact wordings of her comebacks. I am in my mid thirties and have always had to get my mother involved for anything to get done. My mother was on the phone with her while I wrote this, and now Jennifer tells me that she will do it… and that she understand that is what they require. They have a new lady Carla who has made the whole place horrible. There is patient abuse like this and no agency that enforces the laws in the government. I see Dr. Diaz for epilepsy. I had been 8 years without seizures when I started seeing him 10 years ago. Within a few months, I was having seizures regularly! Not only abuse, but making my condition worse. Like the old saying "You don't fix what is not broken." He sure did and I now cannot drive, or be alone due tot the danger my seizures cause.

Office staff horrible. Do not answer phone. Paperwork and referrals not done in timely manner.

They NEVER answer the phone or returns calls. Three weeks now I have been leaving messages for Tonya to schedule an MRI. NOTHING! Finally I was able to get the girl that schedules appointments to check and nothing had been done. I called my insurance company and I don't even need an authorization for the MRI. I really don't know how they continue seeing patients!

Officer personnel does not return phone calls and does not schedule tests or set up referrals as instructed.

Dr. Diaz is great. But his office staff never called back to discuss MRI. Then they lost my MRI. We had to call several times to get results. Nice folks, but bad followup.

I do not recognize the picture above. This is NOT Dr. Diaz. He is the most caring, attentive, takes a lot of time with you doctor my husband and I have EVER been too. If I could rate him more than a five I would. Have no idea who people who are rating him negative have gone too but they have the wrong doctor!

I have been a patient of Dr. Jose Diaz since my MS diagnosis in 2000. Up until then, I also worked as an MRI technologist in hospitals that he referred his patients to, as well as being in contact with him concerning his patients exams. I do not recognize this picture of him at all and have never known him to be a doctor of psychiatry. He is a very caring, compassionate doctor, taking time to answer questions, etc and has an excellent bedside manner. I think this site has gotten him mixed up with another physician, and the reviews are totally false.

I have been seeing Dr. Diaz for over 10 years after my MS diagnosis. He has always been kind and thoughtful, taking as much time with me as I needed. He's always answered all my questions and explained every process that I questioned. I've known quite a few of his patients and they've all been very happy with his care.

i HAVE BEEN SEEING dr Diaz for about 10 years and he always takes time to sit and talk with you about your health problems. His nurse always calls back if I leave a message or I have a health question for either of them. He will be my neurologist as long as I need him. HE TAKES TIME AND LISTENS.
