Dr. Jose A Gaudier, MD

I was so blessed to have found Dr. Gaudier. He’s very easy to talk with and very kind. A great doctor who actually listens to the patient. However, he has retired here in Ocala as of December 2025.

I didn't see Dr. Gaudier but rather one of his APNs who treated me very disrespectful when I tried to ask questions. I asked to speak to someone else, perhaps Dr. Gaudier?, and was told no.

Dr. Gaudier is a person who is highly trained and experienced, performs hands on analysis as if you matter, and will give you a reason for your pains, you might not like them, but if you think about what he says you'll learn more about your condition than anyone else has given,. I appreciate the experience of him accepting me as his patient,

It seems like the quality of care has gone down quite a bit, I guess because the only person you see is the nurse practitioner. The doctor was kind enough to stick his head in the door long enough to tell Chelsea the nurse to give me a prescription and the minute he was out of earshot she said and I quote “ I’m not giving you that, I’ll just up your dose on what you take now”. Over the last few years things have changed there, people have come and gone and the attitude of the staff has really gone down hill. It must be a bad place to work and it’s pretty uncomfortable to be a patient there, it almost feels like it’s an intrusion to show up for an appointment.

I am so fortunate that I found Dr. Gaudier. He loves his work and it shows in his method of care . He always treats me like I’m his only patient . I trust him totally Is a happy person with a good sense of humor I can’t say enough about what a wonderful doctor he is

i was told by dr, gaudier that i had depression problems an should take a vacation. the same thing on my second appt, told to return in six weeks see his assistant but take a vacation. how stupid this was. after eight months the v.a gave me a nerve conduction test. this showed i had a serious spine problem. at this time i was almost paralized and needed my top four discs fused. my nerves were crushed in my top four discs this caused neuopothy through out my body. ayear was lost of my life. alengthy operation was performed by the va which relieved some of the nerve damage but i am much better with some neuopothy still remaining at least i can be active the rest of my life. i believe this dr.was completely negligent of what was wrong with me. this diagnosis was so wrong it could have cost me my life. i am still very upset about this. i hope nobody has to go through what i went through

I was a patient of Dr.Gaudier for over 8 years. I think he is an excellent doctor. I was very comfortable with Dr. Gaudier. He was very informative on anything that I need. I would recommend Dr. Gaudier, to anyone in need of a neurologist.

Doctor Gaudier and Lacy are two of the best practitioners in Ocala. They are always looking out for your best interest and will go above and beyond to make sure you are being taken care of. Every patient is important and the staff is always welcoming. Wait times are short and you will never spend longer than needed in the office!

Dr. Gaudier is a very knowledgeable and kind Physician. He answered my questions thoughtfully and took his time talking with me and doing appropriate exams. I am very happy that I was referred to him. The ease of appt. was rated lower ONLY because he is very popular & it takes a little time to get an appt.

I feel I am pushed aside as unimportant because I do not have one of the top neurological diseases. I am pleased with his ARNP staff, but feel he does not have time to figure out what is going on with me. I just get pills and go on my way.
