Dr. Jose Luis Hinojosa, MD

Dr. Hinojosa is now practicing at New Frontiers Health Clinic in Oakley, KS. He saw my daughter for a sports related injury. He was demeaning and condescending to both my daughter and I. He treated us as if we were stupid and did not listen well. He told my daughter that if she were an athlete she should automatically know what to do when she gets an injury. We were following up with a doctor after a chiropractor had recommended this after examining my daughter. He also insulted us by saying that we must just be coming to the doctor to get a magic pill to fix the injury--implying that we were just there to get prescription drugs. We simply wanted a diagnoses for the problem and to see what our next steps should be. I will not return to this doctor.

I had a high blood pressure incident (crisis I guess). My mother was ill (now deceased) and I was a bit stressed. The Dr. saw me and had his nurse practitioner give me a couple of blood pressure pills and sent me off to Garden City over $8K in bills .... didn't find anything... thank GOD, but still. His bedside manor is demeaning and he was a total waste of my time and money ( I owed him $550) what?
