Dr. Jose D Ibarbia, MD

I have been a patient of Dr. Ibarbia's for a number of years. He has treated my many ailiments with excellent diagnosis on all of them. He is very knowledgable as to my pain levels. And basically, he is just a real nice guy!

I had sciatic nerve and herniated discs and he treated. Pains are gone 3 yrs later I'm good to go still.

Dr. Ibarbia helped me to recover from an injury, where another doctor was of no help.

Dr. Ibarbia has a great personality and good bed-side manner; he is very knowledgeable and a good diagnostician. I feel so much better! Dr. Ibarbia is an excellent PM&R physician!

I saw him twice, and while he was very kind and personable, he really did not offer me any options except to stop running. I have a "bulging disc" but was not given any advice as to how long for recovery or what I should do besides strengthen my core b/c "that will help". I felt like my second appt was rushed (took all of 7 minutes, yes I timed it) and my first appt was equally as quick. He never once examined the injured area, just simply tested my strength and sensory deficits. The whole experience was relatively pleasant, but i don't feel like I was given any treatment, since the diagnoses was basically just live with it. I am seeking a second opinion from someone with more than 2 years of experience.

Dr. Ibarbia was the third physiatrist I had to visit. But the buck definitely stops here. The man knows what he's doing. I recommend.
