Dr. Jose E Madera

Dr. Jose E. Madera D.D.S., P.C.
Dr. Madera was born in the Bronx, NY.  At the age of five, he moved to the Dominican Republic where he grew up and later attended the “Pontificia Universidad Catolica Madre y Maestra” where he received his degree in Doctor of Stomatology.  In 1989, he came back to New York to attend NYU College of Dentistry where he received his degree in Doctor of Dental Surgery.  He completed his residency in Noblebiocare Dental Implant in 1996.
Dr. Madera worked in New York City and shortly moved to Connecticut looking for a better quality of life for his family.   In 1994 he opened his own business in Bridgeport, CT where he became the first Latino dentist in the area.  In 1998 he expanded to a second office in Norwalk, CT.   Dr. Madera has over 20 years of experience and has been dedicated to helping the Hispanic and Brazilian community.
He has also completed training to become certified in Invisalign, Clear Correct, Lumineers, 3i Implant, and HIOSSEN …Implant.  Dr. Madera is a member of numerous organizations, including:

Dr. Madera’s passion is so great that it has influenced his son who is now following his footsteps as a dentist. He and his family are all part of an organization called Operativo Gratuito which provides free dental services to the less fortunate in the Dominican Republic. He is also an active member of the Holy Dental Relief organization that facilitates dental treatments to members of the Christian faith.  Over the years, he has also helped the children of his community by giving speeches about preventive dental care in public and private schools in Connecticut.
Dr. Madera’s hobbies include hiking, which has given him the opportunity of visiting countries such as Peru, Ecuador, Mexico, and Brazil; he also enjoys scuba diving.  When he’s not working, he spends most of his time with his lovely wife and children watching movies and cooking, his specialty consisting of seafood and meat. He also has a passion for technology which has led him to obtain the newest advancements in cosmetic dentistry keeping him up-to-date with the latest technologies. From digital x-ray and intraoral cameras to computerized panoramic and availability of 3D CT Scan radiographies.
