Dr. Maldonado has been my Dr for the over 10 years. I am very glad I was recommended to him; very satisfied with his knowledge and understanding

Great doctor, awful businessman. All other reviews are correct that he is an excellent doctor, clean offices, little to no wait time etc... My complaint is with his office hours. He closes for extended periods of time, is only open 4 days a week, getting an appointment when sick is nearly impossible. Again great doctor, bad business person.

I found Dr. Maldonado to be a great physician. The only reason I hesitate to continue to be his patient is the lack of professionalism on the part of his staff whom you have to deal with sometimes more than the doctor himself. The staff is neglectful in returning calls and very ill-mannered. This issue might not be a concern to many patients but I feel that "stress" should not be a part of your doctors visit! I would hate to see Dr. Maldonado begin to lose patients because of his staff.

After trying numerous Family Physicians in Laredo and becoming very frustrated, especially with wait times (I would have an appointment for 2 p.m. and not see the Dr. until 5 p.m. or later!), my wife and I started asking around to get other's opinions on whether they liked their Dr. or not. By far Dr. Maldonado was mentioned the most as the best as far as seeing a patient close to scheduled appt. times. When my wife and I actually met Dr. Maldonado, we found we liked him, his personality, his timeliness, and his clean office, even better than was described to us. If I ever move from Laredo, I hope I can talk him into moving with me!! Ha, ha! Keep up the outstanding work Dr. Maldonado!!
