I have not had the need of Dr Manjon for years but when I was younger he was the only Dr that I trusted when I needed to have surgeries. Very caring, personable & EXCELLENT DR. Dr Manjon preformed surgical repair for mesh issue that had been done elsewhere in past. Explained all options clearly and had multiple plans and back up surgeons in place depending on issues that could have occurred. Very pleased with surgery, care and outcome. Spends time explaining / discussing problems. Never “rushed”. Office staff is very helpful as welll.

I came in with a stage 3 cystole. I am 60 years old. I did a lot of research on the use of pessaries and because I have ALWAYS advocated for myself I asked to have another type. I also went for a 2nd opinion and at my last visit I asked him about his treatment outcomes for his surgeries. My opinion was that this insulted Dr. Manjon and he then proceeded to refuse to treat me because "I didn't know what I wanted." I worked at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine/Hospital for many years and have been around surgeons. Nevertheless, any surgeon who gets irritated when a patient is just taking the time to get the right treatment for themselves and then writes them a letter making a comment "about their behavior" and complaining about the many "hours" about the time that was spent on "discussing your condition and treatment recommendations" is beyond my comprehension. He then proceeds to send me a letter stating he will forward my medical records until he gets a signed release but… does not include a medical release with the letter. So in essence I feel that a doctor that cannot engage in a meaningful discussion about treatment outcomes is a bad sign. DO NOT accept the first surgical recommendation from this doctor. It is my opinion that he is more concerned about $$$$.

Extremely personable and conscientious. He came to take care of my aged mother on a Wednesday afternoon when every other dr. seemed to be out playing golf and couldn't be bothered. He traveled a LONG way, and was first given the wrong address, so he had to make an extra effort to get there. He figured out what was going on right away. A Good Guy. He's been my doc too since and I selfishly hope his practice outlives me.

I had an excellent experience with Dr. Manjon when my daughter had her baby girl. Because of that I moved to his practice. He is very caring and give you time for you to express your concerns and I can talk to him in Spanish and that is a big help for many women in the Harrisburg area.

I would recommend Dr Manjon to everyone. He performed surgery on me. Any questions I had, he answered until I was satisfied. His staff is wonderful. Helpful in every way.

Dr. Manjon is fabulous. I was an OB patient when he delivered babies and now am a GYN patient. He recently performed surgery on me and I couldn't be happier. I went into surgery fully informed and felt like he had presented every option that I had to make the best decision for me. He frequently has students in his office and is great at keeping my privacy while teaching students - and only has the students in the room if I choose to allow it. I spoke to someone else who recently had a similar surgery by a different doctor - Dr. Manjon clearly prepared me a lot better than the doctor for the person that I spoke with. He gives all of the time that his patients need (which can sometimes increase the wait time in the office) - I would much rather wait for 20 minutes knowing that he will give me the time that I need than to have no wait and feel rushed when it is my turn.
