Jose Salinas Badillo, APRN, FNP-C, is a certified family nurse practitioner who is fluent in English and Spanish. He cares for patients ages two months and older at UT Health East Texas Physicians at Hideaway Lake. Passionate about patient advocacy, Jose believes in a collaborative approach to healthcare, working closely with other professionals to help patients achieve their health goals.Jose chose a career in healthcare to make a meaningful impact on people’s daily lives. “The ability to improve both the physical and mental well-being of my community has been a true blessing,” he says. He focuses on optimizing overall health and wellness by promoting preventive care, encouraging healthy habits and educating patients about their diagnoses and treatment options.Outside of work, Jose is an outdoor enthusiast who enjoys running, cycling, hiking and camping. He also plays in several intramural leagues, including softball and volleyball, and spends weekends camping with family and friends
