Dr. Josefa Licas

her training and her attitude are mideval

I’ve been a patient of Dr. Licas for several years. She is very bright and caring. My original Dr. retired and she took over my case. My experience with her has been very good and I have no problems recommending her.

Seems to care more about her paycheck than your health.

I came to Dr. Licas for an initial evaluation. The office is located inside a large medical building and easy to find. The wait time was fairly short, but the waiting room was uncomfortable and seemed dirty. When the Dr. called me back she left the door open and disappeared down the hall before I even reached the hallway. She didn't bother shaking my hand to introduce herself. She asked a few questions but made little eye contact as she was filling out paperwork instead of paying full attention. I even had to repeat key parts of my issues since she didn't seem to catch them the first time. As a person seeking psychiatric care there is a certain level of expectation as far as bedside manner goes, to say Dr. Licas did not even begin to meet my expectations is a severe understatement. I also found it difficult to understand her, since she has a heavy accent. I will be making an appointment elsewhere for another evaluation.
