Dr. Joseph Walter Adams, MD

I can't say enough good things about Dr. Adams. He listens well to patients' complaints / symptoms and has the best bed side manner and analogies of any Dr. that I've had. He explains things in simple and easy to understand terms and has an excellent supporting staff. Good doctors are hard to come by in Rocky Mount and Dr. Adams is a diamond in the midst of lesser jewels to put it mildly. Fantastic primary care Dr!!

After years of self-neglect, a few bad experiences within the medical community & with my trauma history, I was actually terrified of meeting with a new primary doctor. I burst into tears when he first walked in because I was so scared. I wasn’t sure I’d be able to articulate myself adequately or if I could even trust him. His calming demeanor, supportive nature & confidence immediately put my mind at ease. He will listen to you & take great care of you. He is a fantastic doctor, well organized, non-judgmental, intelligent, well educated & thorough. I highly recommend him. My quality of life is improving under his care. Thank you, Dr. Joseph Adams. He sucks and is a corporate stooge. His whole office is a joke. Airheads on phones, long wait times, a total cattle call. Don’t waste your time or money. I’d give him a zero if I could
