Joseph Arrieta, O.D. received his Doctor of Optometry from the Illinois College of Optometry in 1995, and earned his Bachelor of Science in Biology and Visual Science from Valdosta State College. Following graduation, Dr. Arrieta served in the U.S. Army at Ft. Sill, Oklahoma, where he was chief of the basic training in-processing optometry clinic which allowed him to practice full-scope optometry and further sharpen his clinical skills. Dr. Arrieta has been practicing optometry since 1995 and is a licensed Therapeutic Optometrist and an Optometric Glaucoma Specialist. Born and raised in Florida, he says he chose a career in optometry because he was inspired by a hometown eye doctor. For Dr. Arrieta, the most rewarding part of being an optometrist is building strong relationships with his patients so he can better address their visual needs. When he is not treating patients, Dr. Arrieta loves spending time with family and friends, watching movies, and volunteering with Knights of …Columbus.
