Dr. Joseph Eric Asuncion, MD

Dr. Asuncion is one of the best doctors that I have ever worked with (and I have been with quite a few). Very thorough, caring and knowledgeable. I am really upset to hear that he is leaving the practice. He will be greatly missed

I have been with Dr. Asuncion for about 7 months and think he is pretty good. He takes time to see to your needs and is easy to get into see. I think the office is great so far with no problems.

How he loves his patients - how he was at the ready when my Mom had a stroke in his waiting room.

I saw him for the first time in Hagerstown Md and he was rude. I expressed to him that I had never had a dr speak to me in the way that he did. He told me that he doesn't sugar coat things to people, he tells it like it is. There is a way to do that and still speak respectfully to your patients...he does not. I left my appt in tears and requested a new dr and to note in my file that I never wanted to see him again. Have a tough skin if you pick this guy.

I had to wait for more than an hour to see Dr. Asuncion. I complained to the nurse and had gotten a half hearted sympathetic reply. Dr. Joseph Asuncion did not apologize for the long wait and spent less than 5 minutes only with me; then, said these words to me after the appointment, "Now, you can walk out."
