Dr. Joseph Phillip Bernardini, MD

I have the whole thing recorded. Went to see him for a second opinion involving a knee dislocation I suffered while at work. Every step of the way with this injury has been awful, but this man was the absolute worst I have ever experienced! Reading all the other bad reviews, my experience was the same. Thin walls so you can hear his every word about you, condescending, had no clue about why I was there and sent me home to wait a week because he needed to see my MRI. I go back and he tells me, “Oh, we could have pulled these up.” Didn’t believe me about my concerns and insinuated that I was lying to make some sort of claim. Kept talking about me going “down a dark road” and mentioned that he “works with these guys and knows what they go through”, implying workers comp I assume. Useless and unprofessional.

Unprofessional, arrogant, terrible bedside manner and the list can go on. It is time for this doctor to either update his education credentials or retire because he is basing his diagnoses on ancient learning. He is very vile, he came in the room with a mouth full of bolus and started talking, food flying all over me. If you say something he doesn't like or disagree with him, watch out, a temper tantrum will come about. Stay far away. Plus his rooms are so cheap that you can hear everything that is being said through the walls. HELLO HIPPAA?!! If he or someone he knows ever reads this...there is a thing called karma, you reap what you sow... what you put me through will come back to you through life's revolving system.

Went into see him due to a workplace injury and not by choice. Red flag 1: heard him talking about me through the cheap office walls towho i assume was nurse case manager. Red flag 2: comes in the room with food pieces in his mouth spitting them on and around me as he talks. Already in pain now trying not to throw up. Red flag 3: without examining me tells me i just have a sprain, asks me about a relation between body parts and explain a previous unreported injury. His focus then becomes on discussing this previous condition with has nothing to do with my injured body part. He was arrogant, berated me and is extremely unprofessional. Save yourself the trouble and go to a reputable doctor. No doctor should be allowed to treat someone like this.

I strongly suggest any orthopedic other than Dr. Bernadinni. He is rude, obnoxious, lies on his reports. Because I spoke with the office manager refarding my unsatisfactory visit he followed me into her office and harrassed me, became confrontational, directed her to not waste her time with me because I wasn't satisfied withhim. What dr tells a pt to take 800mg Ibuprofen 3x a day for 2 weeks??? I asked are you trying to give me an ulcer or make my stomach bleed??? This man is theeeeeeee worse. He shouldn't practice nor own anything that is suppose to help ppl. The situation was way too much to type but STAY AWAY!!!!!

excellent surgeon - spends time with patients explaining procedures and options

Was not happy with service not much else to say give him a zero score

lie about what happens and hide his mess ups when he does total hip replacement

Very Knowledgeable and experienced never had a single problem and have had multiple surgeries by him.
