Dr. Joseph R. Blythe, DO

I am writing this for my wife whom I guess is no longer considered a patient of his because we had to find another doctor. We struggled for months jumping through hoops to get injections for her back pain just to get to the point where nobody there would even call us to inform us of a plan moving forward. Calls would never be answered or returned. He might be a good doctor, but his practice is so poorly managed that you have to part ways just to find treatment.

Dr Blythe did a single level fusion to repair a sparse fracture in my spine one year ago. I am completely healed and feel 95% better than before surgery. Dr Blythe is very personable and explains everything at a level even a mechanic (me) can understand. He took his time during visits and didn't rush through tto get to the next patient. I highly recommend Dr Blythe.

I have never had an experience as amazing and as streamlined as I have with my experience with Dr. Joseph, I highly recommend him to anyone who wants a stress free consultation!

I believe that Dr J Blythe was the best choice for the issue I had with my back for I was not able to get around but now I’m functioning very well. I very much recommend his expertise! Thanks Dr. Blythe!

Failed!!!!!

Dr. Joseph Blythe is an amazing doctor. He did both of my shoulder surgeries. He is very carrying and listens to your concerns. He has a wonderful staff. He was able to help me found out way I was having my migraine. I would recommend him to anyone who needs a wonderful doctor..

Traveled 6 hours for help and was told he could help me but did not. So I spent 12 hours on the road and an over night stay for nothing.

My husband had surgery 4 days ago. He did not come out to the surgery waiting area to speak to me about my his surgery instead he called me on the phone, He did not ask me if I had questions or concerns and then he HUNG up on me while I was asking a question. I had been having neck pain for over a year. It was to the point where after seeing a chiropractor and having regular massages it would not stop. I saw Dr. Blythe, after having an MRI, and he explained the surgery I needed. I was very anxious the day of surgery and Dr. Blythe's nurse came to the hospital to calm me. The staff is wonderful and the surgery was a success. I am 3 months post neck brace and pain free. I would recommend Dr. Blythe for anyone with neck pain.

I went in to see Dr Blythe after suffering with SEVERE sciatic nerve pain for about 6 weeks. This pain had near rendered me immobile. I am 36 years old, very active and have never had health issues in my past. I was scared and confused and just wanted my life back. Surgery was the only option for me, which is why I was here. Dr Blythe explained the surgery, and was very thorough. He and his wonderful team went over the pre and post op instructions so there would be no surprises. He also gave me odds for the future and what may be in store for me down the road. I appreciate being told everything. Not all doctors will do that. The surgery went well and I was pain free as soon as the anesthesia wore off. Surgery may not be the answer for all, but it was for me and I recommend Dr Blythe.
