Dr. Joseph P Bowers, MD

This doctor does the bare minimum. He didn’t answer any of my questions and showed zero empathy. He sent me home with a low-grade fever, high white blood counts, and abdominal pain. I had to ask him if I should return if it doesn’t go away or if it worsen as he was not offering any medical advice. He didn’t care to give me any explanation nor send me to a specialist. I am completely in the dark. I called my PCP who sent me to the ER and he is appalled by this man’s lack of proactiveness. I do not recommend him.

I unfortunately had to visit the ER and I was undecided whether to go to Urgent Care or ER until another painful coughing spell had me pull into the closest pace Memorial ER. From the moment I walked in I was assisted and taken care of...I did not have to wait at all out front and once I got to the back the wait was not that bad...the longest wait was between the X-Ray and the Dr. returning with his diagnosis of what was wrong with me. Dr. Bowers took the time to answer my questions, not ounce or twice when I asked to see him again, but three and four times when I stopped him in the hallway with last minute questions. His bedside manor was the best I have EVER experienced in an ER or even in a DR office that I would love to him to be my PC, which says a lot since I have always chosen a NP over a DR. Fire my PC...due to not liking the DR.s I have had in the past...

I was extremely relieved to have Dr. Bowers as my physician in the emergency room. I had just had a baby and was going through a variety of different issues which I was afraid some concerns would be ignored or overlooked. He paid attention to every detail of my health concerns. He addressed every issue, and made sure that I was aware of everything that was going on. He was a very kind man, attentive and had great bedside manner. I wish he was a Family physician. Lol
