He determined I had Adhesive Capsulitis in my shoulder. Did a month of Stretching, which did not do much. The next step was physical therapy or a quick procedure where he injects saline and cortisone into the joint. I chose the injections. It was quick, painless and had almost all my range back within a month.

Having heard many stories about the trauma of knee replacement surgery, I was very reluctant to even consider it. My right knee had gotten so painful that I could barely walk. I consulted Dr. Broyles and he recommended robotic partial knee replacement. Surgery went very well and I recovered quickly. I put away the walker four days after surgery and never looked back.

I drove in from out of state for 8 hours to have Dr Broyles replace both hips at one time with Super Path. I was so impressed when I first met him in 2012 that he performed the latest techniques and his knowledge of the hip and the mechanical joint that I knew I would use him one day. I had severe arthritis in one hip and was in extreme pain when walking - you could hear the bones grating against each other! Dr Broyles performed SuperPath hip replacement and I walked with a walker a few hours after surgery. The night passed painlessly. The next day I returned home after having lunch out and that evening I took my dog for a quarter mile walk with no cane or walker. The only pain medicine required was a a week of Tylenol. There are no restrictions on movement after surgery and a little over 2 weeks later the incisions are healed (and nearly invisible) and i can swim! I am going to physical therapy at the Bone & Joint Clinic and my range of motion and stride improve daily! This was truly a life changing surgery and so much easier to go through than I had ever imagined!

Dr Broyles did an exception job replacing my left hip. He and his staff are very professional and friendly. My surgery and recovery could not have gone better. I was walking immediately after surgery and back home within hours with no hospital stay. His nursing staff stayed in constant contact during my recovery to ensure my complete and timely recovery. Would recommend Dr Broyles to anyone needing a complete hip replacment.

I was in terrible pain prior to finding Dr.Broyles and having hip replacement surgery. I was having to force myself to function. Dr. Broyles is genuinely concerned and even prayed with my family and I before going into surgery. I haven't felt this good in over 2 years! I wouldn't recommend any other surgeon. Dr. Broyles diagnosed and surgically repaired problem that was causing internal bleeding and pain related to a hip replacement I have that was performed by another doctor years ago. The problem started with a tightness and pain in my groin that wouldn’t allow me to fully extend my leg. It appeared to be common hip flexor tightness that many people experience with a lot of sitting. I was prescribed physical therapy which consists of various exercises and stretching to stretch the hip flexor muscles. Unfortunately this therapy caused many more problems and made the issue far worse. It was only after seeing four different hip specialists and multiple MRIs, sonograms and draining of the blood of and fluid around the hip implant that it was determined that my iliopsoas muscle was lying on top of my hip implant which wasn’t fully embedded into my pelvis; The sharp edge of the metal implant was constantly rubbing and cutting the muscle causing pain and internal bleeding. Dr. Broyles… recommended an arthroscopic Iliopsoas release procedure which frees the muscle from lying on top of the hip joint. The procedure was fairly short and only resulted in two very small incisions on my thigh and groin area. Relief was virtually immediate, healing was fast and the pain was minimal. I only required Advil a few times for the first few days after the procedure. Dr. Broyles was highly recommended and is a leader in his field. One of my recommendations was from a friend who is an anesthesiologist who gave high praise to Dr. Broyles. Thanks and recognition also to Dr. Riche, Dr. Easton and Dr. Hess who all played a role in the diagnosis process that ultimately led to Dr. Broyles care and surgical repair. It’s only been a few weeks since the surgery and I am walking around with less pain and more range of motion since well before my original hip replacement 15 years ago. I have been treated at some of the most acclaimed orthopedic clinics in the world including the Steadman Hawkins clinic in Vail Colorado and the orthopedics department at Massachusetts General Hospital. I place the care that I received from Dr. Boyles and his staff at the Bone and Joint Clinic on par if not above both of them. If you are having groin pain, It could possibly be Iliopsoas muscle impingement. Make an appointment with Dr. Broyles to find out and get relief.

The unique he used to replace my hip gave me very little pain and I was back at work in 20 days.

Words can not describe how Dr. Broyles helped me get my life back. I had a complete hip replacement five years ago by a good doctor. However, the recovery took months of painful recovery and therapy. Dr. Broyles replaced my other hip with little pain and inconvenience. At four and one half weeks, I am climbing stairs and walking without a cane. I wish I had this done three years ago. I have had 2 knee replacements 7 years apart, both done by Dr Broyles. I traveled from almost 2 hours away to have the surgery done by Dr Broyles because I feel he stays up-to-date with the latest treatments.
