If I could give 0 stars I would. He is the chief of the Endocrinology Department and doesn't have a clue about diabetes. He mis-diagnosed me as a type 2 diabetic because I am overweight and not a child. He said I did not need any kind of lab work done to see if I had type 1 diabetes because as he said, "almost all type 1's lose weight and are young". That is the biggest bunch of crap I've ever heard! For someone who is the chief of the department he doesn't have a clue! I demanded blood work (though he said it was unnecessary) and low and behold, the joke was on him. My type 1 antibodies were through the roof - there was no question whatsoever that I had type 1 diabetes! I ended up getting an urgent appointment at Joslin and was told there that I should have been admitted to the hospital. He is an absolute joke!

Not impressed with him at all bedside manners is ridiculous thinks he knows it all no people skills whatsoever there's a million doctors that are a hundred times better than him you got to be out of your mind to give him five stars

He is a diabetes Dr, not Adrenal specialist. I wasted 16 years and had needless surgeries because he said my Adrenal tumor was nothing, without even testing Adrenal hormones. It was causes systemic body issues likely my entire life. Know your scope of practice and stick to it...

I have been a patient of Dr.Cohens for 2 years. He manages my Graves' disease and he is a wonderful Provider with excellent bedside manner. I trust him, respect him and look forward to a nice appointment each time.
