Dr. Joseph Charles Darrow JR., MD

Dr. Darrow, you may not remember me, but 25 years ago you gave me a new knee replacement. They say they only last about 10 to 12 years; well just let me tell you he is the best Doctor you would want to do your knee. Thank you Dr. Darrow.

I saw Dr. Darrow for hip pain. He was very professional and explained everything to me in detail.

I totally agree with every positive comment about this surgeon and his staff. I saw him yesterday for knee pain and was given an injection which I have had in the past by other surgeons. They can be horribly painful. There was a tiny pinch and a slight bit of pressure. That's it!!!!!! I would not be scared to have another one given by him. If I do need knee surgery or a replacement I would be honored to have this surgeon preform it!!!!! He was very respectful, friendly, overall a very nice man. I have dealt with his staff for several years and they have always been nothing but pleasant, helpful, and caring.

After being in pain for around 2 years I saw Dr. Darrow and he explained to me what my problem was and what he recommended for treatment. I took his advise and took his recommendation of treatment and I couldn't be happier. I have to say out of all my doctor visits the one with Dr. Darrow was the best. He was so polite, and explained everything to me in full detail and really took his time with me. In my opinion he is my hero. He has a great bed side manner and is VERY professional. I could of not seen a better doctor. NRMC is very lucky to have a doctor like Dr. Darrow on their staff. Dr. Darrow by hands down is the best ortho doctor in the area! The staff that Dr. Darrow has is also VERY friendly and goes out of their way to make sure you are taken care of and your wait time isn't long at all. I would highly recommend this physician to anyone. He took the time to explain what was going on with my trigger finger so that I could understand the whole process. I felt like he took time with me where as other physicians that I have seen seem to not have time to actually spend with their patients. I would recommend for sure!! It has now been several months since my treatment and my pain has completely resolved!!

My son is a college student that needed help with understanding his injury and his need for surgery. This doctor was rude, condescending and disrespectful. As a parent I would hope that adults, especially professional adults would keep an eye out for college students that are away from home and parents. This man treated him like a child and just told him to get another opinion. I would highly NOT encourage anyone to see this physician.

The absolute worst medical experience I've ever had hands down. Belittled me, patronized me for asking questions about my injury and provided no help whatsoever regarding hoe to proceed with my injury. Do not visit this doctor.
