Dr. Joseph Franklin Davidow, MD

Dr. Davidow used to be my doctor in the early 90s when I was a young 20 year old. Part of his practice as a family doctor was a full gyno and breast exam. No nurse present and didn’t matter what you were in to see him for. I trusted him but it felt wrong and I found a more professional family doctor.

Literally the worst doctor I have ever visited

Dr Davison was our family doctor growing up in the eighties. I remember as a kid (about 12 and pubescent) he would tell my mom I needed a gynecology exam on more than one occasion. I always felt uncomfortable around him and both times told my mom when he left the room that I was on my period. Then in 93 or there about, I went to see him because I was depressed. It was right after I had graduated college and he was the only doctor I knew at that time. He gave me a paper gown and told me to change into it. When he returned he gave me a breast exam. I remember at the time that I left there angry and more depressed that he had taken advantage of me. I knew it was wrong but felt there was nothing I could do. It has stayed with me and now I see these young girls who are victims of serial abusers and I see that is still practicing and I want to warn people.
