Dr. Joseph Philip Falcone, DO

Started off friendly and informative until complaining of pain in hip 4 months post hip replacement surgery. He kept downplaying it month after month with no improvement even with physical therapy. Doesn’t address my issue or pain in my hip, tried to push me back to work even though it’s physically impossible. I have the opposite hip needing surgery and will 100% find a doctor that’s actually helpful and listens to me instead of pushing me out the door telling me I’m lying acting like he can’t be bothered

Dr. Falcone, has always been very pleasant, kind, and professional, I had a total knee replacement, in which he explained every thing and made me feel confident that I could trust him, and that I will have the help and care to get me through my recovery. I would recommend anyone to have him as there surgeon.

Dr. Falcone performed a hip replacement on me a few years ago and his care was and is top-notch. I recommend him highly to anyone who is contemplating orthopedic surgery.

Performed Surgery on my left knee a few yrs. ago. Was more than happy with the results. I'm having a different surgery in a couple of months, and I trust Dr. Falcone with this upcoming surgery as well.

Very attentive staff. Ddr. Falcone made me feel comfortable and at ease. I was very nervous because another doctor had told me that I needed a total knee replacement. This was my second opinion and I am so happy that I did not listen to the first guy. Dr. Falcone took time to go over the x-rays and discuss way my knee was painful. He was and is caring with patients, not just me. You can hear people leaving and talking about how good they feel. One patients even brought cookies for everyone! When you see everyone smiling, you know that you are in a good place.

My experience with Dr.Joseph Falcone was the most awful experience I have ever encountered. I waited over 2 hours to see Dr. Falcone for a follow up appt. When I mentioned, quote; "With all due respect Dr. Falcone I have been waiting for over 2 hrs", he snapped. He didn't even let me finish my sentence. I was shocked. For a doctor to react this way and as a patient in his practice to be treated in this manner is absolutely unacceptable. I did not say or do anything that put him in a position to abruptly release me from his practice. I am still shocked by his behavior. I am a researcher at Roswell Park Cancer Inst. and work with many doctors and when I mentioned this incident they too were surprised by the amount of wait time and his reaction to my comment. A simple acknowledgment of my time waiting would have diffused the issue immediately.Lastly; I have had nothing but problems with my R hip replacement. I have extremely limited mobility on my right side and I have had groin pain… ever since Dr Falcone replaced my R hip 9 yrs ago. I haven't been able to lift my leg high enough to put on a pair of pants without experiencing pain, for these past 9 YEARS. If you are in need of an orthopedic doctor I strongly suggest you seek another physician. There are many more Ortho surgeons in the area that are better equipped to preform these types of sx's and obviously have a much stronger ethical background when it comes "how" their patients deserve to be treated.
