Dr. Joseph B Felder, MD

Dr. Felder has provided me with testing - and has clipped out a polyp or two -- for over a decade. Don't be fooled by his cheerful, joking persona. This guy is a medical pro. He's also deeply concerned about his patients' health, and listens to his patients carefully. So, if you want a sad & serious doctor go to somebody else to do those unpleasant tests. I'd prefer to take my medicine with a little sweetness.

Dr. Felder has been my wife, daughters and my doctor for over 20 years I introduced over a dozen patients from my professional life since it’s so challenging to find a doctor whose beside manner and accumen is off the charts .. That’s what you get with Dr. Felder. World class care!!!

It's very difficult to change doctors. I liked Dr. F the first few years. After awhile, it became clear to me that there was a pattern of him pushing expensive tests. He nags me to have expensive tests done too frequently. He seems to just want to make money. I noticed a change in him when Obamacare was introduced. He also wants to make money for his doctor friends. He's anxious to have you go to his particular friends and is negative when you want to go to a doctor affiliated with a different hospital. If I ask him a medical question that doesn't have to do with gastroenterology or internal medicine, he shrugs his shoulders and says it's not his field. An internist doctor should know at least a little about a lot of different conditions.

He seems to take advantage of patients and orders as many tests and procedures as possible. He makes one feel like there is something really wrong with them which doesn't instill confidence.

This doctor likes to make you feel that something is wrong and loves to order tests...it seems he is just looking to make money. Then he calls and calls until you making you even more uncomfortable like something is wrong. Finally I had to say stop calling because I am seeing another doctor. I was not comfortable or confident with him. I felt like he was bullying me and rushing me to have tests done and pushing things on me that I did not need.

Great Doc - I really trust him. He does too much, but he gets it all done & he's worth the wait!

This doctor is a giant creep. He over-assigns medical procedures, loves to create panic among patients and he insists that you come back to his office to spend more uncomfortable time with him (he is so awkward), and spend more money with him to review results of your physical. I switched to a new physician and have called his office 10 times to request my records be transferred to the new physician. He is illegally withholding my personal medical information. When I had the new doctor's office call him to request the files, he similarly ignored the request and said it's "on his desk and he will send when he has time". Is he hiding something? Or does he have a strange obsession with my files? Please do yourself a favor and steer clear.

Highly irritating and condesending, rude staff. Tried to get a prescription renewed for 2 weeks with no success. His secretary Tamara was rude and when I asked to speak to the doctor to complain about her, she hung up the phone on me 3 times. 4th time, she said the doctor is away for the next 2 weeks
