No bedside manner, extremely rude......made me feel like a nobody! Surgery went well, but extremely rude and unprofessional behavior

This man is so non compassionate about his career. His nurses are trained to be just like him. I have went in for follow ups and his nurses saw me and he initialed my papers like he did. MY new doctor that is awesome says I have a stage 3 capsular contracture that he failed to even try to diagnose when I was in pain 3 weeks after and still am 6 months out. He sucks at manners and I am filing complaint to plastic surgery board. Do not go here, he is a liar. He didn't even do what he planned, this is not over here either.

I had breast augmentation / reconstruction. I needed a lift and large implant to fill the gap. I left the day of surgery all bandaged up.so I had no idea what to expect. I knew that I was going to have large incisions, so that was fine.. when I was able to take the bandages off I realized that my breast were already dropping and we're not the size I requested and would fit my body. I called him immediately and went back to his office. After I paid seven t hi ousand dollars, he offered to "fix" them for another three thousand dollars. I was mind blown. Why should I pay for his screw up? He has horrible bedside manner and should not be performing these sugeries if his patient isn't a priority and it's all about the money. Additionally, he didn't take any history on me and didn't even do pre-op blood work. I have had many surgeries and know that it is imperative to take blood beforehand. Would never use him or send anyone to him EVER!!

My experience at this practice with this dr was awful! I was having reconstructive surgery after having stage 4 breast cancer and was treated terribly...no bedside manner, no compassion, and dr was very hateful and acted like he didn't have time for me. My surgery didn't turn out well and i was told there was nothing else he could do. i didn't even get a referral to try to correct the problem. I had to take it upon myself to seek a dr and found one in winston-salem that actually did correct then problem that this dr didn't want to take the time to try to make it right

I had considered breast implants for quite the while so when the time became possible I researched and asked many friends. One whom had undergone breast reconstructive procedure after breast cancer and the other had chosen implants by Dr. Fewell. Knowing they had trusted this Dr. and practice I felt very secure in my choice.Within 2 weeks of my cosulation I was scheduled for my surgery.Today I am 2 months post op and am so very please with my choice! Dr. Fewell and his "entire" staff were wonderful, every visit I was very warmly welcomed in a very timely manner and was treated very respectfully. I am so happy with my choice of my procedure, being a "lift and implants" and would HIGHLY RECOMMEND Dr. Fewell and this practice!!!!

He lied about my insurance coverage, getting me to pay for my surgery which pays him higherPart of my recovering breast fell off my body and he said it was "normal". 'Fat was coming out".5.5 months later I still had not healed and had my breast ooozing tested by my local MD. All this time I had a staff infection from his private clinic which he never even tested. He even took a day off on my last appointment and they said I didn't have to come back anymore. What a HORRIBLE experience. I would NEVER go to this doctor again. Horrible!!

Dr. Fewell made my experience of being diagnosed with melanoma even more traumatic than it already was. He was so harsh, his nurse came in and apologized to me after he left. He seemed irritated to help someone with a real medical problem. Had I come in for a boob job, he probably would have been much friendlier.
