Dr. William Frederick Mcguirt, MD

Dr. Mcguirt gave me my life back. It makes me tear up thinking of his hands healing such an ailments in my throat. I was literally sick as can be for 2yrs until I met him, he kept trying things truely interested in my case, worked with dentist also!!!!! He actually listened to a dentist!!! All other doctors told me I was crazy. Thank you Dr. Mcguirt .. Your hands are here to heal please put your heart into it daily :)))) -staff very nice and fun!! They're professionals, do this often, are happy genuinely enjoy being there. Dr. Mcguirt I would say is usually the smartest man in the room .. No doubt about it.

My personal opinion is that Dr. McGuirt Sr. is very knowledgeable and very caring as well. I was very satisfied with my overall experience with Dr. McGuirt's treatment.

Please don't risk your health or life by going to this doctor. Also note that his license has been previously suspended for six months (check the North Carolina Medical Board site). He did surgery on me for a sinus infection. I had multiple complications and he would not see me until the time for the follow-up appointment. After two follow-up appointments he told me all was well and sinus was clear. I kept having problems and went to two other ENT doctors for a second opinion. They used the same CT scan he had used to tell me everything was fine, but these two doctors told me my sinus was still completely full and I needed another surgical procedure. So, basically he had told a straight out lie and had I listened to him, I would still be suffering and would have developed severe complications that would affect other organs in my body, I got my records from his office and there were many errors in them. When I confronted him about these errors, he indicated they were all… "transcription errors". My experience with him has been like a horror story. Please take my advice and seek help from another ENT doctor. He is not worth the risk.

Dr McGuirt performed surgery on me 25 years ago. After a car accident, it was reveiled, that I had a tube in my neck a year later. I made an appointment with hMcguirt and he told me there was nothing there. Now 25 years later I am having some trouble with my thyroid..Guess what...He lied it is still there. A 4.2 cm foreign object.

I receieved this Dr. Mcguirts names from a friend of mine when my child had an ear infection. We made an appointment and he took care of us with such ease and caring!We will most definately be going back to see him very soon!
