Dr. Frank William Mauldin, MD

Sharp as a whip, the best of the bunch.

I cannot put in to words the deepest gratitude and respect for Dr Mauldin. I was the victim of a carjacking and brutal assault. The attacker used brass knuckles and broke over 5 bones in my face and complete orbital blowout. I looked and felt like a monster. I didn’t know if I would ever look or feel normal again. There was not a Doctor in the area who would take on the intricate and delicate facial reconstruction I was so desperately in need of. I thought I would be deformed the rest of my lifet. Dr Mauldin stepped up and agreed to take on the difficult task of reconstructing my face. He took extra time to explain the surgery and the risks involved. I was depressed and scared, however Dr Mauldins staff were so kind and warm that I felt they truly cared about my well being and felt I was in the best of hands. I was so impressed with Dr Mauldins professionalism and kindness before and after my surgery. He skillfully reconstructed the orbital floor blowout, zygomatic process, nasal bone,… and maxillofacial fractures so beautifully that people who do not know my story would never know Ive had facial reconstruction. I healed wonderfully, with minimal to no pain, and to my surprise with little to no scarring. I will always have the deepest gratitude to Dr Mauldin and his staff. There is no better surgeon and healthcare professional than Dr Mauldin. Thank you again for giving me back my life.

Dr. Mauldin was wonderful and very caring. He took time to explain everything he was going to do to remove the benign tumor from my parotid gland. He prepared me with all of the "this could happen" but I had absolutely not issues and no problems. One of few doctors I have ever seen who was on time, no waiting. He was professional and my incision was very clean and healing nicely, appears that I will have very little scar. He is a A+ doctor!

Been to both locations and had great experiences. Dr. Mauldin is wonderful and so is all his staff. I even have my husband going to him now. Thank you for making our visits pleasant and easy.

Dr. Mauldin is a very trustworthy doctor who is always ready to listen and take care of you. He has a good bedside manner. I would recommend him to family and others for sure. Glad I'm a patient of his.

Having never met Dr. Mauldin before I expected him to introduce himself when he entered the room or at least shake my hand and tell me hello. Neither happened. I found this to be rude and insulting. If you are looking for a compassionate doctor, you might want to look elsewhere. I prefer not to feel like I am an interruption to his day.

On this Thanksgiving day I felt it ws necessary to give thanks and appreciation for my daddy's surgeon, Dr Mauldin,

Dr. Mauldin and his nurse are two of the most caring and thorough medical providers I've ever dealt with. I went to them for several years due to chronic sinus infections.Dr. Mauldin did not push surgery on me, he tried everything else first and even helped me try some alternative ideas that I looked into. He always took as much time as I needed at appointments, patiently answering my many detailed questions (I am a scientist by training so I tend to have lots of questions!).His nurse's followup was always prompt and accurate, which is rare these days.When I finally did decide to have endoscopic surgery, it went flawlessly; whereas the ENT I had seen before Dr. Mauldin had punctured the sinus bones of two of his patients in the past two years (causing nearly lethal meningitis infections).I also ended up taking 6 year old to Dr. Maulding for a few years due to her frequent sinus problems, as well. He was incredibly kind, gentle, and patient with her.
