Dr. Joseph D Fortin

Dr. Fortin helped me a great deal with my back pains. Before I went to Dr. Fortin I ached at the end of the day no matter what I did on that day. After having stem cell replacement my back began to feel like it did ten years earlier. I can honestly say that Dr. Fortin and the stem cell replacement changed my life in a positive way. Thank you Dr. Fortin and his courteous staff for making my days much more pleasurable and free of horrifying pain.

I injured my shoulders doing some home renovation work at the end of 2017. After 8 months of constant pain and severely restricted movement I had an MRI and Ultrasound done, revealing that I had a full tear and 3 partial tears of my left shoulder rotator cuff, and three partial tears of my right shoulder rotator cuff. I was referred to Dr Fortin by my chiropractor who had a history of multiple full rotator cuff tears and regenerative procedures done by Dr Fortin, with subsequent successful recovery. I decided to go ahead with the regenerative procedures and I’ve been in regular physical therapy for 4 months, and am now nearly graduated (2 more weeks). My pain is gone, my range of motion is restored and my shoulders are getting stronger every day. I am more than pleased with my recovery and the care I received. Dr Fortin and his staff are friendly and very professional.

Before I started seeing Dr. Fortin, I had a failed back surgery. Through his procedures I have been able to remain active and have a better quality of life. If you are having neck or back issues, please don't hesitate to go see his awesome staff!!!

Dr. Fortin, Katie, and the entire staff have been incredible to work with. I was struggling with pain in my back which radiated to my hip, butt, groin, hamstring, and foot for 4 years without knowing the source of my pain or cause. Their detective work and patience with me has been awesome. With their help, I am able to walk again pain free and wrestle with my kids pain free. My ultimate goal is to run again and I continue to progress towards meeting that goal. He is the best professional and most knowledgeable spine doctor in Fort Wayne (and the entire midwest). I spent time at the Cleveland Clinic and going to multiple other doctors trying to figure out what was wrong with me and he is 1000% better. He is on the cutting edge of PRP therapy, truly listens, and is a blessing to work with. Thank you Dr. Joe and Katie for all your help.

STAR is VERY financially motivated. Pretty sure the staff is on commission. All I can say is they thoroughly X-rayed my wallet and extracted everything they could. Procedure sounded urgent and told me I was in dire condition. Apparently not dire enough to help me get a handicap permit. Only dire enough to milk me for my insurance benefits and money. So I have to agree with some of the other negative reviews.

I've had back pain for 12yrs and major surgery I'm not sure I needed. My amazing chiropractor, Dr. Caleb Suciu referred me to Dr. Fortin. Together, they found things the surgeons missed for an extreme fraction of the price. Pain from daily 5-7 to intermittent pain and we aren't finished with his recommendations. Highly recommended!!

I finally found a doctor who really cares about finding out the route of my pain problems. He doesn't give pain medicine which I like, he gets to the route of the problem and does procedures to help control pain. I highly recommend him to anyone who wants to get pain relief. Thank you Dr. Fortin and your staff for caring about me as a patient.

Dr. Fortin came highly recommended and I discovered for myself that his expertise is extraordinary. The time he took to evaluate me and actually listen to me, was unlike ANY experience I've ever had in the past with other doctors who just rush you in and out - sometimes they barely speak to you. He really listened to my concerns and I felt like he actually heard me. He worked out a plan with me and my quality of life these past few years is SO much better - my pain is all but gone and I continue to improve. I can;t speak about previous staff people from 8 or 10 years ago, but his current staff are just plain kind and helpful, and they make sure you don't wait too long. Nobody likes going to the doctor but at least here you can get real help.

this doctor made me an addict then when I could no longer work is suing me because I cannot pay a balance he and his office needs to be reported to the attorney general
