Dr. Joseph Donald Gaspari, MD

You could not find a better shrink in the whole wide world!

Dr. Gaspari was incredibly helpful to me 26 years ago before the internet existed. He was a quality person then and I have no reason to believe that has changed in the past 2 decades.

His prices are reasonable given his level of experience. However, he lacks empathy, and delivers his opinions in a highly judgmental spirit. His advice often references his other patients, which he paints in a less-then-compassionate light. He spends more time talking about his otter patients and colleagues than actually listening, and he interrupts frequently. I left his office feeling worse than when I came in.

He took me as his patient having gone through a very difficult ordeal. I could not believe he called me back after what I put him through. I'm just getting to know him. He has a pager whenever you really need him. When I had catraisties and he would get back to me he doesn't say much but is there for you. I think his treatment as a psycolanylist there is a lot of distance in your work w him. Caring but it's you that works on you.
