I went to see Dr.Joseph Gobern for the second opinion about my bleeding and fibroid issues. I am glad I did ,who knows what would happen if I stayed with the obgyn I saw previously!. Dr. Joseph Gobern was very professional ,very knowledgeable (knew exactly what was happening just by simple exam),he was very prompt in taking care of my issue . I appreciate it very much.If you are out there looking for the professional with exceptional knowledge and manners Dr.Joseph Gobern is the One.

I had a huge (6 inch in diameter) fibroid that grew during my pregnancy. I was seen by a few different doctors and was told that I had to take some hormonal medicine je for two months hoping it would shrink my fibroid and would only consider removing it laparoscopically after and most probably they had to give me an incision. Dr. Gobern was able to remove it laparoscopically and never brought up the need to put me through the side effects of those injections. I had an amazing experience and unlike some other comments, I found his bedside manner to be very amazing!

Dr. Gobern has the absolute worst bedside manner. He made my labor and delivery a nightmare. He acted as if he had absolutely no care in the world as to what he was doing, and gave myself and my family an arrogant attitude the entire time he was treating me and delivering my daughter. Please do yourself a favor, and find a more professional OB/GYN.

I just saw Dr. Gobern yesterday and he was very honest and open. I didn't necessarily like the outcome of my diagnosis; however, he let me cry and call my love ones on speaker phone to explain everything again. Thankful!!

He does not take into consideration any of your family history. He does not allow you to participate in any of your health care decisions or treatment options. Out of all of the physicians I have ever seen He has the worst bedside manner. If you're looking for an OB/GYN save yourself the time and skip Dr. Gobern.

I will not return to this doctor. I questioned whether he is trained as an GYN his examine was not professional and questionable.
