Dr. Joe offers sedation free colonscopies on request and makes sure it's an interesting experience.He explains what is happening as he goes along and is very thorough and careful. He has dealt with my polyps in a prompt manner and made sure I got excellent care. Follow up after each colonoscopy was very good as well. I highly recommend him as a compassionate and caring gastroenterologist.

Dr. Healy is a companionate and caring Dr. He found a small tumor in my esophagus that initially showed no cancer cells. His persistence and experience working with the pathologist eventually concluded cancer cell presence. He assisted in getting Oncologists (chemo and radiologist) on board and a referral to UNC medical Cancer center in less than two week to meet with the surgeon that will remove the tumor after radiation and chemo.. Getting this all done in a quick time, developed a positive prognosis for care and cure. What is most comforting to me, is his follow up with good and bad news into late hours in the even. Many calls after 8 PM which provided much comfort and confidence that we are seeing the best Drs. in the country. Thank you Dr. Joe!
