Dr. Joseph Samuel Iobst, MD

I had a miscarriage in 2015. He did the ultrasound and said, "there is no evidence you were every even pregnant." After I had passed the baby at home because they would not get me in, even though I called frantically many times that day. I had no follow up, and when I became pregnant again a couple months later, I had to repeatedly ask for an hcg test to see my levels. I was told they were too low to support a pregnancy (even though I was very early pregnant and told them so) and told to come back to have it repeated in 6 weeks, and not to come back in a the standard two days to see if it doubles. I went to another doctor who did the two hcg tests, and found I was, in fact pregnant, and the numbers did go up...to which she stated she was "cautiously optimistic!" I now have a beautiful baby girl. Dr. Lobst and his staff could learn something from that bedside manner.

Dr. Iobst was the best doctor I could have hoped for throughout my pregnancy and delivery. He is a bit reserved at first, but is very competent (my pregnancy was high risk), exceptionally kind, caring and considerate. I'm so grateful that he was my OB!
