Dr. Joseph Wellington Jackson, MD

After the treatment I just received the parking lot I would not take my dog to this office. I had a sick child in the car and one of his employees (bossy black woman) screams at me, waving her finger and ranting that I cannot park where there are no other cars anywhere for 2 minutes. Sorry doc...don't know what kind of doctor you are but my review is find an office where the employees are civil.

Worst doctor I have ever seen. He is rude, unprofessional, uncaring, dismissive, contradictory, unable to diagnose properly. Pathetic.

This doctor put a PEG in my father-in-law at Jackson Hospital. He NEVER once made a follow-up visit during the hospital stay nor did he make an appointment for a follow-up visit. We never even SAW the man. Not only that, it took WEEKS to get Jackson to give us his name so we could make an appointment. I would NOT EVER recommend this man to ANYONE!! If I could give ZERO stars, I would!!! Don't use this doctor.

My mother has been a patient of Dr. Jackson for some time. He has been rude and short with me before but nothing like today. My mother was scheduled for a simple procedure at 9:00am but Dr. Jackson didn't arrive until around 1:30pm. My mother is insulin-dependent and had not eaten anything since 10:00pm the preceeding day. Needless to say she was hungry but couldn't eat until after the procedure. When I expressed my concern to Dr. Jackson, he was very, very rude and unprofessional. He never apologized for the long wait or acted if he was concerned that she was diabetic. I asked if her appointments could be scheduled earlier in the future and he said "how bout I don't schedule anymore" and walked out. Very, very rude. Uncaring so-called doctor.

My family member saw him very recently. Rude, Rude!! My brother was having problems remembering his medication and what all of his medical issues were. He was so rude to my brother, so my family and I are going to cancel his procedure to get another Dr. He never introduced himself nor did he ever speak. Just AWFUL!!

Dr. Jacksons kindness was the thing that I remember most. There was no mistaking that he cared. Once I was diagnosed with colon cancer he took very good care of me. He has taken care of numerous family members over the years and I have heard none of them complain. He s honest and some people may not be able to deal with that but I prefer honesty. He is in high demand and may run a bit over in terms of time but if you have something serious gong on you wouldn't want to be brushed off. He is a great physician with much compassion.

Dr. Jackson took care of both of my parents through the years. As a retired nurse, my mother could readily identify qualities of a "Good doctor". They received exemplary care. I am now his patient. I have found him to be very professional and personable. Excellent bedside manner. I especially like that he is knowledgeable and his goal is to make you healthier.

My mother was referred to Dr.Jackson because of some issues she was having. On the day of the visit after waiting over an hour and a half to be seen the doctor was VERY RUDE and NASTY my mother made a small comment about the wait time. As a doctor he should schedule appointments so that patients can been seen in a timely manner and he should never be rude especially when the patient has not done anything outrageous to provoke it. I never want my mother going here again we will find another gastroenterologist to seen in Montgomery. The only reason we stayed that day was because we had waited over an hour to see him.

Dr. Jackson dismissed my symptoms and refused to listen as I answered his questions. He ordered me to stop taking the medicine I was taking and was unconcerned when I called and told him I was in pain a few days later. Do not suffer this as I did.
