Dr. Joseph Lewis Joyave, MD

My son had an itch attack starting at 10pm. Nothing’s helped. It’s now 3am ?? five hours pass and Z E R O sleep for this pregnant woman — and y’all wonder why I don’t keep my mouth shut about vaccines??? Our lives were NORMAL before the jabs. where’s the pediatrician (Dr. Joyauve) that never showed US the risks and went over the VACCINE INSERTS WITH US, let alone TELL US there was a vaccine insert!? He’s most likely sound asleep in HIS bed, resting HIS body, not even remembering who we were or HOW he failed us FIVE years ago. Worst part? They KEPT pushing vaccines even with his flared, broken out body. I would never in a million years recommend this place. Do your research since they truly don’t care — they just JAB, JAB, JAB. The nurses couldn’t even hand me an insert and were acting like I was asking for gold ?? this was 2015, perhaps their practices have improved. But once my son got those shots in Feb 2015 his life was ruined whereas he was a normal baby. We’ve… traveled the country — MD’s told us we’d never heal his peanut allergy. Guess what? It’s almost gone. Doctors aren’t God. GIVE the PARENTS the vaccine INSERTS (not the manufacturers marketing sheets ??????).

If you can get a appointment with Dr Joyave then he's amazing but good luck with that. I would say about 80% of his staff sucks. The only doctors I liked besides Joyave was Bob & Anne Marie which both disappeared from his practice. That's when I decided to move to another pediatrician. The nurse Mary is the only nurse you would want to deal with, she actually cares about the parents concerns & the kids. The on call nurse is a witch & never returns your calls... I made so many complaints against her & Joyave still left her in charge because she's friends with his family. If Joyave cleaned up his staff & took His practice back to how it was in 98... His practice would be so much better off.

I have been using Dr. Joyave for about 11 years now with my kids. I Love Dr. Joyave and often say he's the best kept secret in GA. I have always had great service at all appointments in the Calhoun office. I even enjoyed the small office in the country in Calhoun. With that being said I have been nothing but unhappy with the Cartersville office. I have found the office staff to be rude and the waiting room and restrooms not at all up to the standard I have come to expect from Dr. Joyave. I will also add that I almost always insist on my kids seeing Dr. Joyave directly as I have not been very satisfied with the some of the of the other Doctors that have been in the practice. If you want one of the finest peds for your child I would highly reccommend Dr. Joyave.

Dr. Joyave is one of the best pediatricians that I have ever been to. His knowledge and bedside manner is absolutely wonderful!
