dr. LANGSTON is an excellent doctor making recovery so much quicker and less pain. I would recommend him to anybody. My recovery was quick and painless.

I had an infection in my hip from a hip replacement two years prior. I was in the hospital for two weeks with the last week being at Westside medical. Dr. Langston performed a hip revision, and when my infection was cleared, he performed a total hip replacement. Dr. Langston was amazing. Very kind and thoughtful. He explained everything about the procedures and was on top of my lab work, running tests to make sure my infection was gone. He was very trusting and helped me have the confidence I needed as I was pretty sick worried! I’m very thankful for Dr. Langston.

Me: 78 year old female with osteoarthritis and osteoporosis.of the left knee who let her knee go until there was little if any cartilage left. Ex cheerleader. Dr. Langston: Younger and with no knee problems and a surfer. Why I waited so long? Many of my peers who had had TKRs walked like invalids and frankly they scared me. I wanted to walk again with gracefulness and ease. Match for expectations to outcome: 100%. At 6 wks I am walking gracefully and have resumed my former activities. I gave my complete trust to Dr. Langston and have never regretted it. Highly recommended.

Dr. Langston performed a total hip replacement for me in January 2024. I found him to be very knowledgeable and thorough, with a great bedside manner. I would definitely recommend him.

I am so happy with my hip replacement! Dr. Langston is a remarkable surgeon. From the beginning, I felt informed and cared for as an individual. His bedside manner made me feel comfortable with his skill and knowledge and there was a nice sense of humor as well. Needless to say, the surgery has changed my life. I am up doing the things I enjoy, time with my grandchildren, walking, swimming, gardening, travel! Thank you Dr. Langston and your entire support team. You were wonderful. Dr. Langston is AMAZING!! I cannot possibly say enough good things about him and my recent hip surgery. To begin with, his bedside manner is the best of any doctor I've ever had (and I'm 61). He is kind and jovial and explains everything clearly and precisely. The day of my surgery he made me feel completely at ease and I knew I was in great hands. Following surgery, he checked in on me often and has never hesitated to say, "If you need ANYTHING, please let me know and I'll do it for you." As I told Dr. Langston during my 6-week checkup, he has literally changed my life. I have had zero pain since my surgery, have never taken a single pain med and am walking 4-6 miles a day at the 6-week mark. As thrilled as I am to have my active lifestyle back, I'm only sad that Dr. Langston isn't my general practitioner so we could chat more often. He's THAT great!!

This was my second hip replacement, left side. Right side was done in 2011 using the posterior approach and recoup time was long and difficult. I researched Dr's in Kaisers system and found that Dr. Langston specialized in hips. Dr. Langston met with me and explained that things have changed dramatically since then. He uses an anterior approach, more detail oriented and less intrusive. He was personable, wanted to know my goals for post surgery activities I wanted to return to and then broke down the surgery and post care. Day of surgery he met with me and went thru procedure process and made sure any questions or concerns I had he immediately addressed. This procedure was a total 180 from what I went through the first time. I am already back to most activities after 6 weeks where the first time took me 4 months. I am sure there are other fine Dr's out there but would absolutely go back to Dr. Langston.
