Dr. Joseph A Leonetti, MD

Dr. Leonetti had absolutely no bed side manners when I went for my wisdom tooth consultation. He was clearly in a rush to get me back in for the extraction so he could make a few bucks and ignored all of my statements regarding my fear of the dentist. When I called back asking for a second consultation with a different oral surgeon at the same practice, they were incredibly rude to me and asked questions like "Why don't you want to see Dr. Leonetti anymore?" and "Who recommended this other oral surgeon to you?" and "Did the person (dentist) that recommended this other oral surgeon to you know that you already had a consultation with Dr. Leonetti?". Finally they told me that they would give me a call back to let me know if the other oral surgeon would "accept" me as a patient as I had already visited Dr. Leonetti. Apparently when paying thousands of dollars for a tooth extraction, you can't even choose who performs the surgery anymore.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Dr Leonetti and his entire staff. I have been going to Dr L for several years and over the last few months have started an intensive treatment plan to repair very horrible teeth. Every appointment has gone fantastic. He takes the time to explain everything that he is doing and makes sure I am comfortable throughout the process. I appreciate all of the incredibly hard work he has put into my case, which I know has been challenging. For the first time in nearly seven years, I have been able to smile showing my teeth. I was able to smile at my sons teachers at his first day of preschool. I was able to smile at my birthday last week. He and his staff have changed my life in a way that I do not think they could ever understand. I am continuing to see Dr L for the rest of the work that I need done & would highly recommend him to anyone that asks. Thank you Dr Leonetti!

We have used Dr. Leonetti for all 4 of our kids. He has done 3 wisdom teeth extraction and a cyst removal under the tongue. Our experience has been wonderful on each occasion. He let the kids know what to expect, was running on time for the surgery and none of the kids have had any infections or problems with healing. My only complaint was that the nurse wouldn't allow me to take video of the boys when they we doped up and being silly.

Went there for a tooth extraction. Put numbing gel on tooth and didn't give it any time to work then, injected 2 needles into gum. Removed my tooth like he was a mechanic working in a garage. Technician assisting was digging her nails into my chin causing even more pain! Dr. appeared as though he was in a hurry, did not explain anything he was going to go or anything when he was finished. Never mentioned anything about possibly developing a dry socket. Had to return to office 3 days later. The nurse that saw me laughed that someone had put the wrong tooth Dr. worked on in the computer. Put packing in which came out as soon as I got home. They told me the hole was very "shallow," and eluded that it shouldn't have been bothering me as much. It has been excruciatingly painful and will see another Dr. for 2nd opinion. Will never go back!!
