Dr. Joseph G Lutz, MD

I have been with Dr. Lutz, seems like forever - probably since 1987. I can't say enough of how great he is - he truly saved my life when I was having my first stroke. Dr. Lutz knew what was happening and immediately instructed to get to the hospital. Dr. Lutz is thorough, takes the time to listen, understands what medications are best for me, is compassionate, I trust him completely! I have recently moved two hours away, but I'm willing to drive back down to him, he is just that great!

I began seeing Dr. Lutz after one of his partners in his practice left and it was a great choice. Dr. Lutz is the most personable doctor that I have ever met. He will LISTEN to you about your concerns and symptoms and then tell you what he thinks and then, if necessary, backs up his diagnosis with the proper testing. The way he speaks to you is wonderful....doesn't use big medicine words and makes sure you understand what is wrong and what the treatment should be. He makes sure that you understand and that all your questions are answered. He does not rush through your examination or discussion, spending as much time with you as necessary to get you the proper treatment or diagnosis. As someone else mentioned, he is an "old school" type of doctor who puts the patients first. Unfortunately his practice is currently full, but there are other doctors in the practice with him who I have heard are just like him.

We had a horrible doctor, then a GREAT one. Unfortunately, the great one moved and we had to look for a new doctor. My wife and I were nervous because of the bad experience with the terrible one but tried Dr. Lutz because he was the most conveniently close. It turned out to be a wonderful choice. Dr. Lutz is as good, if not better, than our previous doctor! He is a caring man who spends ALL the time needed to listen to you and then carefully explain all that he tells you.We have been with him for several years now and we feel like we have found a treasure. I honestly could not ask for a better physician and we feel blessed to have found him. PS: The office staff is also excellent.

He is good doctor with great personality. It is just sad that he can't accept new patient.

My family has been seeing Dr. Lutz since 1997. He is a wonderful doctor, and has excellent bedside manner. Dr. Lutz takes his time to discuss your medical concerns/questions at length, which sometimes causes a little longer of a wait. He is a doctor that truly cares about your wellbeing, so waiting an extra 15 minutes to see him is totally worth it.

Bad experience. Too long to wait and inaccurate diagnosis.

I have been to a few doctor's. I saw Dr.Lutz @ his old practice and followed him when he went to his new practice. He is a really great doctor that I have found so far in the Columbus area! I would for sure recomend him!
