Dr Machuzak rocks! I've had severe acne on my face and back for a couple years (not an easy thing to have in high school). I had been to another doctor and tried a lot of things. I saw Dr Machuzak a couple months and ago and it's already at least 90% better and improving. Thank you, thank you, thank you! JD.

Dr Machuzak is truly a trained and knowledgeable professional in skin cancer. He is an expert in the Mohs surgery for Melanoma. He makes the procedure as comfortable and painless as possible. Wouldn't let any other Doctor treat me.

I was referred to Dr. Machuzak by another dermatologist because of his advanced expertise. I had a diagnosed melanoma that needed to be removed. I was immediately impressed by his depth of knowledge. As a trained Mohs surgeon, Dr Machuzak had the ability to do the surgery in office in a single visit, rather than the multiple procedures required by other dermatologists. He has a great demeanor and makes it obvious that he cares about his patients an the level of care he provides. I don't often write reviews, but this experience exceeded my expectations. Dr. Joe Machuzak is my skin’s savior. I am so happy to have found a caring and personable dermatologist. I’ve been a patient of Dr. Joe for over 10 years now and refuse to see anyone else even though I have moved out of state. I suffered from a rare skin cancer and he completely removed the infected area leaving little to no evidence of the procedure after I healed. I have now been skin cancer free for seven years! He is the most well-informed skin cancer doctor in the region and has also treated me for my seemingly untreatable psoriasis that other past dermatologists were never able to properly get control over. Thank you Dr. Joe for being so smart and answering all my crazy questions in a way that makes sense to me. You’re the reason I am cancer free and finally feel confident in my own skin. It is obvious that you are passionate about your work and your patients. Thank you for everything you’ve done for me over the years. The Best! He treats all like family and is an awesome person. Been going to him for about 12 years. He explains all procedures, if needed, before.

Is hard to get a quick appointment

The wait time was not the better part of my visit but once in the room it went better. He spent adequate time on my exam and spotted a cancer I was not aware of. His nurse was as educated in her field as he left her to prepare me for my biopsy and I did not feel a thing when she numbed me. She's as Angel'ic as her name. What a wonderful team to have taking care of you if you ever have to receive unexpected news in your drs office.
