This is the way a doctor’s visit should be. He takes the time to listen and get to know you. You never feel rushed or like you’re another number. He feels your body and mind are to be treated in order to heal or be completely healthy. I can’t say enough about this amazing doctor who has helped me physically and mentally overcome some health issues. The office is like walking into a complete zen studio. The best part is being greeted by his sweet dog. Thanks doc Joe!

Dr. McDonald is by far the most caring, compassionate and talented physician I have ever encountered. He takes the time to listen to his patients without rushing, asks pertinent questions and pays attention to the answers. He truly cares about each of his patients, as individuals, not just as a 5 minute appointment to be hurried through and move on to the next person on the schedule. He understands the connection between physical health and emotional and mental well being and to that end he makes a point to get a clear picture of his patients life circumstances and stressors or struggles. Treatment plans, which are not simply given as directives but formulated with the full understanding and input from the patient, take all of the patient's circumstances into account. Dr. McDonald is kind and gentle, and very approachable with any concern or problem that is presented to him. He is down to earth and friendly, and put me at ease the moment I met him. He truly cares about his… patients and is able to be a partner in their health care. In addition to being a knowledgeable and talented physician, this quality of genuine caring is what makes Dr. McDonald an exceptional healer. He is truly a rarity in this often impersonal and rushed world of today's health care. His office staff is just as caring as Dr. McDonald. They are welcoming and greet each patient by name. They make sure the patient is comfortable and relaxed during their very short wait to see the doctor. Its actually more like stopping in to visit friends than being in a cold, impersonal doctors office. I adore the office staff as much as I adore Dr. McDonald! I am grateful to have Dr. McDonald at the helm of my medical care. Every aspect of my interactions with him have been superb and affirming. Dr. McDonald is, of course, a very good doctor but what makes him extraordinary is the care and compassion he shows to each of his patients. I could not recommend him more highly.

It's not every doctor's appointment where you feel at ease the minute you walk through the door. Nice zen music in the background, a very friendly service dog to greet you. The staff always asks if you need water, coffee or tea. They limit how many appointments they have in a day so you're not rushed when you meet the Doctor - or Doc Joe as he likes to be called. He takes his time with you. He really wants to know what your issues are and then works with you to correct them or treat them based on evidence based medicine. Truly a great experience.

Very personable doctor. I was only patient in waiting room. I was served coffee and when I was ready, the Doc Joe saw me. Staff was very pleasant.

Great experience. Very friendly. Our appointment lasted for about an hour. Very attentive.
