Dr. Joseph Matthew Micchia

Dr. Joe has been my Doctor for 8+ years and all I can say is that he is THE BEST doctor I've ever had. I've been in this country 48 years and seen lots of Doctors, and Joe is very caring, he makes you feel like you are the most important patient he has. He does not rush you. He cares! As long as he is practicing he will be my Primary Doctor!

I've been seeing Dr Joe now for a number of years. He has fabulous bedside manner and is very easy to talk to about my health issues. I feel I not only have a dr but a friend who truely cares for me. He spends the time it takes for you to be comfortable with the next steps for treatments. He really listens to you and educates you so you both can determine the best treatment plan. In his office you are not just a number like with most medical groups in NC. He orders the necessary tests for diagnosis and does not try to do unnecessary testing for the extra buck. Instead, he tries to minimize your subjection to the risks of a procedure as well as the time and money. I am unsure why the other poster had such problems with the office staff. I have had a great experience with them and the dr. I would go any place else.

Dr. Joseph Micchia is an excellent doctor by my standards, however his front office staff are rude and dismissive and his billing department is completely inept. I have spent nine months trying to resove the billing nightmares they have created together and I can't seem to get anyone in his office to give me the time of day. I tried to leave a message for the doctor to contact me to tell him what's going on, but I'm sure his assistant did not give him the message. His business is going to suffer because I will not be returning and I'm sure I'm not alone in my feelings about this situation.
