Dr. Joseph C Millin JR., DO

If you like spending all your time in a waiting room then this is the doctor for you. Has no consideration for other people's time. I think he makes people wait just so he can feel important. I put up with it too many times. Wish I could bill him for my hours.

Dr. Joseph Millin is our family doctor. Some people complain about waiting time but it is nothing comparable with the time he spends with patients. He is always listening attentively, and pays attention to every detail that the patient says. His treatment is always helpful. The front desk staff (Kevin) was very nice and helpful. Dr. J. Millin is great, giving realistic expectations. I definitely would recommend his practice!

Dr. Millin is an exceptionally good doctor. He takes the time to understand the patients problem and diagnosis the problem if there is a problem. Yes, he might make you wait but that is because he cares about each and every patient. And, yes he might be blunt because he knows his stuff. This man is a true doctor and if you need help then he is the man to see.

I have a family member who has recently seen Dr. Millin, and was very disrespected. Under a disagreement with Millin, my family member was told to leave the office. Patient CARE always comes FIRST! I am disgusted.

I had a family member who has recently gone to see Dr. Millin, and was completely disrespected! Very poor care for his patients! Was on time for an appointment and Dr. Millin did not even arrive until about TWO hours later. Under a disagreement Joseph my family memeber was told to leave his office! Patient care ALWAYS comes FIRST.

I agree with all of the comments below except one- Millen in not an "eye Doctor" and therefore cannot correct vision. The long waits are unbearable. And to get an RX refilled, I am calling today for the 6th attempt - and the pharmacist has given me 3 pills and complains about his office never getting back for the refills. He also referred me to a heart Dr.. for a newly formed grop study, and after scheduling the appointment, - leaving work to do this- after 2 hors I was told I was not a candidate and Dr. Millen should have known that. His office is also hounding me to come there for my diabetic eye exa,, which is covered by insuance. Why would I go there to see a person who is coming in for one day without all the necessary refraction machines. Is Millen being compensated for this. I,.too have been overprescribed medication that would debiliatate a racehorse. Even the pharmacist said the Itreatment from Dr. Millen is too extreme. Unfortunately he is my primary… according to me insurance, but I will soon change. I have complained to him about his office staff and the long waits, etc, and now see his PA mostly. But was told he has to see me at least one time for the insurance coverage. He had complained to me that my insurance is causing these problems. I would say that his decision to take on the amount of patients on this plan - it is a contract for x amount- is his problem.

I have only seen the Dr once in four years. The PAA iokay but wants to push pills that arenot necessary. The office staff doesn't get back to you and you have to call sometimes twice. My first and only visit with Dr Millin I was insulted about my weight which then was 165 and I am 5' 6" . He said I was obese and should be in single digit size clothing. Yes, overweight but not obese. Then he asked if I was nervous and I said yes because Drs make me nervous and went into a rather long schpiel about how maybe I would like to try an antidepressant. i declined. As I write this I am suffering what appears to be a wicked sinus infection. Three days ago I called to see if the y could work me n but of course the snarky woman I spoke with said no. They called in a pres rition for Z Pack and I have an appointment in 10 days. They really don't care about their patients it seems. If I could leave no stars I would have., but they do have this really kind and knowledgeable young Indian man… working thre. The only caring person in the office.
