First time a doctor took a lot of time to actually describe my entire condition and all the alternative treatments available and the pros and cons of each. He was very patient with all my questions and educated me on everything including the different medications available for my condition.

Very professional. Listed to what my problem was, then thoroughly explained what he could do for me and what my options were. He did the procedure in his office the same day. Very nice and friendly. Very friendly staff. In and out in less than an hour. Problem solved, no more pain!

Every visit to the office I was left to wait over an hour past my appointment time. While I thought this was rude, especially after the third time, it was the least of my discomforts. Dr. Nichols talked me into surgery after I initially pushed back to the idea since the procedure seemed pretty invasive for something that should heal on it’s own over time. Dr. Nichols convinced me it would be very fast and painless so I decided to go ahead and move forward with the 15 minute procedure. unfortuantually this procedure was and still is the most excruciatingly painful experience of my life. It’s been weeks since my surgery and I can barely walk. I’ve contacted his offices about some sort of pain mamagement but they refuse to offer anything that works or any solution. I’ve been out of work for weeks now and I truly don’t see a light at the end of the tunnel. This doctor is uncaring, talks entirely too fast to understand, extraordinarily late for his appointments and once he collect his… money you are no longer a human being to him. I highly recommend you taking your business elsewhere and I truly hope that no one has to suffer the way I have after surgery. Dr. Nichols is one of the most thorough Doctors I know. His explanations are excellent and I always leave pain free with my problems solved.

I have to agree with the other one star reviewsâ?¦ I thought the doctor was okay, granted I set the bar low. It's pretty obviously a money mill but he was a nice guy. I waited an hour to see him. Our interaction lasted maybe 10 minutes. He then handed me off to his scheduler. His support staff were discourteous, and condescending. I hope I'm not sickâ?¦ But the thought of having to deal with this kind of treatment while managing an illness is more than I could fathom. Despite the waste of time, I moved on to another doctor. I don't understand the lack of courtesy and compassion exhibited by this office. There is really no reason to accept it.

Yesterday I had my 2nd routine every-10-years colonoscopy with Dr. Nichols. It was just as non stressful as my first one in 2003. In addition to be very knowledgeable and caring towards his patients, Dr. Nichols is hilarious, putting me at ease? I opted to try to remain awake, with the option of receiving more anesthesia if needed. NO PAIN! In the recovery room, he spent lots of time answering all of my questions. His staff was so helpful in providing advice about the prep. While this is not a delightful experience, because of Dr. Nichols, I no longer dread it.

Dr. Nichols has no sympathy or respect for his patients. Don't waste your time or your money. Go to a doctor that cares about his or her patients, that is, someone with some level of the understanding that people in pain must suffer. SHAME!
