I was very confident in my decision to have my procedure with Doctor Racanelli. I loved his before and afters, that he handled all procedures from start to finish, his scar results and I mean he's listed as one of the top 10 plastic surgeon's in NJ. I was even more confident with my decision once i received the results I always dreamt of. From start to finish my experience with hisself, his team, beautiful/clean offices and hospital staff, was such a blessing. Each member did their part to ensure i was safe and comfortable from start to finish. I will forever be thankful!!!

Dr. Joseph A Racanelli is an excellent and seasoned Doctor, I wish I could say the same for his phone receptionist Maria. I called and had a very polite and simple question about a CAT scan issue with my Pulmonologist, Maria was extremely rude and abrasive and treated like like garbage for taking up 5 minutes of her time; that she is getting PAID for. She even said "you're a new patent and we never met" as though that gave her the right to be rude and abusive, as a matter of fact I DID meet Maria on my first visit to Dr. Racanelli a few days before... Hard enough with me getting a very troubling medical diagnosis, but being abused by unfriendly and angry staff for no reason whatsoever just compounds my stress and saddens me. Everything with ordering medical tests can potentially get complicated with confusion and issues and there are always going to be glitches and questions that can be resolved quite easily on the phone, by hearing a person out like you would with your own family… or friends. Sick of being treated in an unprofessional and abusive fashion by some medical office staff , this can reflect quite poorly on what is otherwise a very good doctor's office, with a highly skilled doctor at the helm; ultimately the buck stops with Dr. Racanelli for the misdeeds of his staff....

Also doing business (ie setting up appts. , paying bills) is very easy with his staff. I also like that I don't sit in the waiting room for a excessive amount of time like other Drs in the area. I recently used him for surgery and I am very happy with his process (follow up ) and the result. I plan to use him again in the future.

Dr. Racanelli is the best plastic surgeon around. After researching plastic surgeons to perform my breast augmentation. Dr. Racanelli was one of the top doctors that kept popping up. After sitting with over 5 plastic surgeons, I knew Dr. Racanelli was the Dr. I trusted. He made me feel extremely comfortable. He answered all of my questions and concerns. I never once doubted him. He has such confidence in his work and gives you honest expectations. I could not be happier with my results. Whether the facility in Newark, NJ or Morristown, NJ, everything is just perfect. Post op attention is part of the process. You can only teach so much in a classroom or internship. There are certain talents that one is born with...this is such a doctor! We are so pleased with the results after less than two months post op. Actually, I should say that we are more impressed than we thought we would be.
