Dr. Joseph Raymond Schneider, MD

Would not recommend Dr. Schneider -I was referred by my PCP for venous reflux. At the original appointment (I waited 4 months before attending to insure my insurance would cover services) he told me to loose weight and come back in 6 months. I understand the physiology of venous reflux - extra weight would aggravate the condition. But I am 5'9" and 150 lbs which is healthy weight for my height. My assumption - he just wanted to pad the bill. I made the follow up appointment but never attended. I felt insulted and like he was trying to take advantage of me - totally not caring about my health or well being. I defiantly did not want this man to preform an invasive procedure on my body. To boot I was personally charged for 2 appointments. Guess this guy really needs his money. My insurance was billed + I was billed personally for the first and the second I canceled and never attended was billed to me personally as well.

Called in resident to assist on phlebectomy so as not to exceed one hour duration and trigger additional charges at facility. I found him kind and caring in every aspect of our interactions, as well as how he approached his technical support staff.

Did a reat job for me

I was very very disappointed with dr. j.schneider I will not recommend any body to be treated with.him.until now I am suffering with the surgery he did to me.everytime the feel some pain I think of him.i just cry.because it did,t work and I was damaged.

Dr. Schneider is a wonderful surgeon who has helped me tremendously. He is the most professional and compassionate doctor I have ever known. He always had time to answer questions, no matter how long it took. My surgical results with him were outstanding. I cannot recommend him highly enough!

I would not recommend this Dr to anyone, he speaks to you with arms crossed, even rolled his eyes one time,your opinion means nothing to him. I went in for a simple procedure.
