Had Dr. Smith after entering Novant in ER. He is excellent! Required multiple surgeries. Is patient, kind, good communicator. Won’t find a better doctor/ surgeon.

Dr. Smith was excellent. He asked all the important questions and was so concerned about the best treatment for me based on my past health experiences. He gave me his time and fully explained the procedure I needed. Completed an ultrasound to reinforce his decision. His staff were also very friendly and went out of their way to help.

I cannot be more positive about Dr. Smith. He is thorough, kind and professional. I am reminded of the doctors of my childhood. Novant Health and our region are fortunate to have him.

Dr. Smith is not only extremely competent but is one of the most caring doctors that I have ever been to. He cleaned up quite a mess that Duke made. We are so lucky to have him in Brunswick County. I would recommend him with no reservation. He is wonderful.
