I agree with one of the previous ratings. I too had Dr. Stote regarding a psychological evaluation for bariatric surgery. I found him to be very condescending, judgmental, and belittling as well. He also made unprofessional comments and seemed to use his personal opinion rather than a clinical one! That is very scary to me. I am filing a complaint against him through the medical board. He does not even deserve the one star but you have to give at least that in order to leave a comment. I hope that anyone else who goes to him for the bariatric evaluation and has an unpleasant experience sees this and knows that they are not alone and should file a complaint against him through the State Medical Board as well.

I read reviews and was nervous to see Dr. Stote. I'm glad I still went, he was very professional and business like. I never once felt he was rude, condescending, or on a power trip. The evaluation went easily and smoothly. No complaints.

Worst experience with a medical professional ever. He’s obviously on a power trip. He’s in the wrong field.
